North easterly climber?

Hi a new gardener here. I have an ugly wall of like to hide but would have to grow from large planters not ground. Any recommendations for a fragrant rampant climber? Thank you!

How about a creamy white, scented, climbing rose? This one is lovely and suitable for a n/e facing wall, pale colours look fab in the shade. www.davidaustinroses.co.uk/claire-austin-climbing-rose Not evergreen but an absolute delight.

Sounds perfect. I have two large planters with cream rose bushes and they're cream so would be perfect thank you!
