Would this be weird?

I've just found my old wooden tradition style toboggan in my parents' garage. Would it be weird to make it into a garden feature? It's about 32 years old and the runners are rusty but otherwise is in good condition. It was never that great as a sledge as always sank into the snow unlike the plastic ones.
I was thinking of putting small planters on it with trailing plants on the edges and then something taller along the centre. I'm not sure if that would be weird though, especially in the summer.

Not weird at all and it's your garden so do what you'd like to with it.

Thank you. I wasn't sure whether it would be better as a winter feature. It seems a shame for it to be sat doing nothing except collecting cobwebs in the garage.

It's not really practical to put it away in the summer though. You could grow lots of summer trailing flowers over it and then have some evergreens as well so it's got year round interest.

I've had a really good google now and have discovered a couple of ways of doing things. For the summer I'm going to use the supports to make into shelves and put pots of flowers on them. In winter I'll make it seasonal for Christmas. Like the picture below.
