It's an aquilegia: lovely cottage garden plants and will self seed at will. They tend to start out in fancy colour combinations and end up purple ime!

You're welcome - it's always nice when it's something you know :-) It's such a pretty flower - I prefer the purple naturalised ones personally to the fancy ones myself (woman of simple tastes ;-)

These are lovely, I have this colour, a light peachy and dark red in my garden, they self seed and come back every year
