How to feed mixed flower and veg beds?

If you grow flowers and veg together, please tell me what you feed them with?
This is my first year trying veg growing (eh peas, pumpkins, carrots) in the borders.
But, I'd stopped putting rotted horse manure on the beds after realising it was giving great leaves but few flowers (nitrogen rather than potassium?).
So, if you successfully mix up your plants - what do you feed them, and how often?
The soil is clay by the way.
Thanks.

Liquid seaweed! I get mine from Amazon. Everything loves it.

Nettle tea. Big bunches of nettles soaked in water for a few days. - wear gloves and be warned it stinks.

Thank you! Plenty of nettles around here... I'll try that first.
