Can I save this carnation?

Hi I bought a Dianthus Tequila Sunrise last year and it was lovely.
It looks nearly dead now, there are two green shoots and the rest looks dead. Can it be saved? Thanks for any help xxx

I've saved worse.

I'd depot, and remove all the dead leaves, all the dead roots and tease out the living shoots and the related roots, and repot into fresh compost, soak the pot in water and then put it in the shade making sure it isn't in any direct sun for a few days.
