What to put in chimney pots?

Hello,
I need some advise on what to put in my chimney pots.
I would like plants that will come back next year and are low maintenance.
I really don’t have a clue and want to get my garden sorted for my toddler. Thanks guys

We’ve put Bellis perennis in our containers this year ,mixed colours and they look lovely and are growing really well .

Herbs usually, they are pretty forgiving. Mint, oregano, strawberries, rosemary, lavender, parsley [although it will go to seed in its second year], chives etc etc.

How about some trailing geranium- no bother and don't need lots of attention:
