We moved into our new house last year and this is our first spring/summer. Today, I've noticed this growing up the wall, with the ivy. Does anyone know what it is? I googled blackcurrants but the leaves look different! I am completely new to gardening so have no clue about anything!

The berries are part of the ivy - birds love them ☺

The ivy is called Goldheart btw, really beautiful .

Yes, ivy. Very good for the birds as the berries are there when other things have finished.
Ivy is also very late flowering, which is an important source of nectar and pollen for bees.

Ivy flowers are great for bees in the autumn too, when there's not much else around.
