Blue Tits

Ok, so 3rd week of March and we put a bird box on the house (outside bedroom window).
Within a couple of days a pair of blue tits have been visiting and checking it out.
Then they started bringing nesting materials (always in the morning) never any activity during the afternoon. So excited!!
But now as off yesterday, no sign of them at all.
Will they come back?
Have they been scared off?
Is this normal behaviour for blue tits?
Any advice welcome

Sometimes they check out several nesting boxes, fussy househunters!
What aspect is the bird box? They prefer N and NE aspects because when the weather warms up direct sun makes the box too warm.
Hopefully they will return.
