My spider plant is having babies. Does this mean it's crying out for some TLC and HOW can I make the babies grow?

What do I do with them, exactly? In the past, they've always died whenever I've tried to pot them.

Thank you

Cut them off the stalk and stick themin water and they will root and then you can pot them (I have succeeded in the past and I have brown thumbs )

You peg the little plantlets down in compost before you cut it off. When it has rooted, cut it off.

Oh, you both make it sounds so easy. Will have a go this week. . But, do they have them because feel neglected and throwing out last gasp attempts at life kind of thing?

No. They are supposed to get them. Shows plant is healthy. Mind you, all plants get tired after a while and its always good to have one or two younger ones coming on.
