Dead roses?

My husband pruned out lovely David Austin roses a couple of weeks ago the a big frost cane
One group seem ok and are showing signs of growth the others not a thing
Is it the end for them?
Can I do anything?
Could they still recover?

Wait and see. Though the new shoots may have been destroyed by frost its very unlikely the whole plant is dead. Needs time to make new growth

Thankyou hopefully you are right that are so lovely I'd hate it if we'd murdered them
