What is this? Weed or plant?

I’m not good with plants (more of a bed grower), any ideas if this is a weed?

It looks like foxgloves to me, they self seed everywhere.

Oh, thank you, I think I did plant a foxglove last year, it seems to have gone crazy over the last week or so. I was unsure if it was a weed as everything else I planted looks dead. I won’t dig it up, will wait and see if it flowers.

I'd split them up into individual plants and dot them around the garden (sunny, sheltered spots are best).
They do self seed but are easy to pull up/move if they end up where you don't want them.
They also flower in their second year so you may not see flowers this year.

I was just going to ask if I should separate them. I have plenty of space so will dot them around, they are actually one of my favourite flowers as the bees love them. They are in a sheltered spot in my south facing garden so also get the sun.

Poisonous though.
