Plant for pot by front door

Hello

Just looking for some suggestions for something to plant in some pots by front door ( one largish, other medium).

I currently have a small olive tree, some lavender and a rosemary in the pots that are there, but have two more to fill. Doorway is west facing and gets a lot of sun, Victorian terrace, dark blue door.

Ideally I’d like something with some fragrance. Something to lift the spirits when I open the door!

Could you put a climber in the pot? Jasmine? Honeysuckle? Or even a rose? To scramble up your wall and over your door?

Thanks - I’ve tried a clematis previously but because of the way the front of the house is it seems to find it hard to take hold ( if that makes sense!)

We have blueberry bushes by ours- pink blueberries. The kids always grab some to eat when they’re walking in or out in the summer and they’re really easy to grow

Yes clematis is gorgeous but does need help to get going (assuming you helped guide it through woes etc?)

Blueberries are a nice idea and it's good putting an ericaceous plant in a pot as - where I am at least- you can't grow them easily in the borders . Or even those cute dwarf nectarines!

Sarcococca has good fragrance this time of year. Or a daphne. Underplant with hellabores and primroses. How big is the tub?
