Safety glasses

Last week while doing some conservation volunteering, I accidentally more or less poked myself in the eye with a sharp stick. Probably a grass stem, actually. Hmm yes, I know - idiotic.

If it had been a sunny day, I'd have been wearing 'wrap around' sunglasses.

So, what I want is something like those but clear, which fit a smallish woman's head well so they stay on when leaning over. The safety specs we already own are the chemistry lab type, I don't think they'd work well for more physical outdoors work. Can anyone recommend some please?

And, please do learn from my mistake!

Can’t do an Amazon link, but I use VoltX OVERSPECS, which are industrial safety glasses, comfortable, scratch-resistant and protect against UV. All for around £8.

Thanks... I don't really want the 'overspec' style (that's the sort of thing we already have).

Search on Amazon for safety glasses there are loads and they are not expensive. Or you can buy them in DIY stores.

I use Bolle contour safety glasses, and the same style & make for sunglasses

Ah, that looks like what I'm after - thanks!
