Have I left it too late for Daff bulbs?

Just found my bulbs...says plant August to December. If I planted them now would it be too late for 2019?

Maybe, maybe not. Plant them and they’re almost certain to bloom spring 2020 if you miss next spring. I’m guessing they’ll flower for you as it’s still in the planting period.

I'm not certain, but I know someone who didn't much enjoy Christmas so spends Christmas Day planting bulbs she had bought cheap at the garden centre.

They might flower slightly later the 1st year, but they should flower - get them in.

redcar I'm not gonna lie, gardening on Christmas Day sounds pretty lovely!

You'll be OK - the Christmas day I spent putting in daffodil bulbs (!) all came up beautifully in the spring
