Hi all,

I am creating new flower beds that were under an old path and all sorts of plants are springing up that are probably weeds. I recognise the forget-me-not, but can anybody help with the more feather seedling? I have a few of them but I don't know whether they are weeds or not.

Thank you

It looks like Escholzia - Californian poppy. Did you have them growing in the summer? They can be prolific self-seeders.

I was going to say Nigella - I have some at that stage right now in my garden.

Another vote for Nigella!

Oh that's great. I had Nigella a bit further up the garden and I would be happy if it is spreading. I have lots of space to fill! Thank you for help.
