Camelia advice please - to move now or not to move?

I had a plant id thread earlier in the year (sorry can't find it atm) which identified a shrub as a camelia. I need to move it as it is currently tucked behind a shed, however it finally seems to be budding. Should I leave it until spring or risk moving it now, perhaps taking some cuttings? What sort of area is best to move it to, was thinking near a low fence but I wonder if it may be too exposed.

Better to move in the winter months. It may take a while to settle in to its new position but feed it and water it well and you may be lucky! Mine seem to prefer a light shade, but if you move to a sunny position and keep watered it would be fine I think.

Camellias don’t like morning sun, the sun scorches the flowers when they have dew on them. So position it for afternoon sun.
The buds are already formed, so if you move it now the shock might mean the buds fall.

Thank you , will observe the potential spot to check for light but think it would be more afternoon sun. I'm not too worried if it does not flower this year since it so tucked away we don't see it easily, but would prefer it to survive the move.
