If my garden will be in one piece tomorrow? I have a feeling it's going to have a rather wind blown look to it Confused

I'm in the Southwest and we got rain and very strong winds monday Tuesday ( Storm Helene) and then again today ( Storm Bronagh) outside right now it's gusting like the blazes

Fingers crossed everyone's gardens and trees survive this autumn storm

We're in the NW and the wind wasn't too bad. But it has absolutely lashed it down for about 8 hours and it's still raining.

You're not. My dhalia's took a batterimg yesterday & I'm expecting tonight/tomorrow to completely end them for this year, as well as my other bits.

Though we really need the rain ( mid west Fr.) it's been parched here for 3 weeks roughly, we had the first 'proper' rain this morning, (very windy too) I don't know which storm we;ve been at the end of!! The annoying thing is I still have to water, esp the pots on the terrace, because of the leaf cover.

Despite lashings of rain the earth under the grass in the garden is still deeply cracked Confused

I have 2 Fuchsias that are in flower that have survived incredibly well but the last of the roses have had all their petals removed Confused

Yes we're going to need a lot more rain but not all at once! I'm getting ready to plant some seeds in situ, grass seeds, camomile, evening promroses, primroses and foxgloves.

Also I have a preformed pond waiting to be filled by rain!!
