DH and I have been busy today. Our patio wasn't flat so DH has been out today to pull all the slabs up ready to lay the ground straight ready to relay them properly. When he lifted them he found two holes in the ground which were waste pipes . We can't believe they were just covered over with patio slabs.
I have also started cutting down loads of hedging as it all grew out of hand. We are trying to cut it all down to the bare minimum. Got to a point where the tools we have weren't strong enough to cut the thicker branches so that's all half done until we can get hold of something stronger.
The back garden is a right eyesore at the moment. What have we done?
DH keeps trying to convince me that it will all look lovely when it's finished. Exactly -when it's finished.
What a mess.
