Best early flowering blossom tree?

I'm planting a blossom tree to commemorate my mum. She died in February and inknow it's pushing it, but I'd love something that blossomed as early as possible so that occasionally we might just see the first blooms around the anniversary.

I'm thinking Prunis Kursar.

I have the space for it to grow fairly tall and I'd love a teee bench around it eventually.

Does anyone know of any good teees that might fot my brief? Or does anyone know any Prunis kursars and what they're like? Height, girth, spread and agwbaort of thing. And how beautiful/proliferate?

Thanks

Prunus subhirtella Autumnalis flowers from November till March. Not a huge flourish of blossom, but a succession of delicate blooms which defy the weather. Comes in pink or white.

Camellias? They flower Feb to March. We have a huge one in our backyard (4m or so).

Witch hazel?

Thanks all. I have a witch hazel and a few camellias already-because they're beautiful!

The tree nursery can't get Prunus kursar, so unless I chance it online I might be back to the drawing board. I wanted to plant it late November so I still have time.

I'll wcheck out that other prunus, @Trethew thanks.

RHS lists suppliers of kursar.

What does witch hazel look like in leaf? I really fancy some but have never seen it other than in flower.

Leaves look very much like ordinary hazel (Corylus) but the shrubs have an elegant open shape. Good autumn colour, especially H Arnold Promise

Hamamelis x intermedia Arnold Promise
