All the grass in my lawn died off this summer, as did all the moss but the weeds thrived and took over a lot of the area! I’ve used weed and feed over the entire lawn which has left lots of black dead patches. I’ve naively sprinkled grass seed on the patches but it hasn’t grown, probably because the dead moss and weeds aren’t allowing it to bed in to the soil. Is my only option to rake away the dead weeds and moss? I’ve started doing this and the lawn looks even more terrible and it’s almist impossible to rake it all away! Is there an easier option?
