Succulent question

I've had this succulent (don't know what type as it wasn't labelled) for several years, but this year with all the lovely sun it's been having babies! I'm about to repot them all but what do I do with the two halfway up? They don't seem to pull off, and I'm worried if they get too big the whole thing will keep falling over, tia.

it looks really happy

gently nudge the babies side to side till they fall off, then sit them in a shot glass with their bums just in the water
they will form roots and can then be potted up
(or you will end up with a windowsill full of shot glasses full of plants like my daughter has!)
