Animal/child friendly weed killers?

Anyone know of any? I've been googling to know avail so far and dh wants to get one tomorrow. I'm loathe to get the proper weed killers that could harm animals and be potentially dangerous for the children too. Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Weedol is one I've used.
When it's dry it will not harm children or animals.
Available in most DIY shops
