Do I need to feed hellebores in summer?

I generally give my potted perennials some liquid feed every 1-2 weeks during the summer ('growing period'). Should I be feeding my hellebores too? They are evergreen so obviously have foliage but they flower in winter so does that mean they wouldn't benefit particularly from the feed in the summer?

I don’t bother. The summer leaves often go off a bit in the Autumn and you can remove them just before the flowers open.

Good to know. Thanks, JT05!
