Have I killed my neighbours tomatoes?

He's away for a week and asked me to water the garden. I've been diligently going round twice a day to do the veg, borders and greenhouse.
The tomatoes are in quite shallow grow bags and the leaves are wilting and dry, I've obviously not given them enough.
If I give them a really good soak twice a day until Sunday will it revive them? Is it possible to over water tomatoes?

Tomatoes need loads of water,.but they tend to come back quickly too. Definitely soak them lots.and they should be ok by Sunday.

Thank you, I've been in a panic.

Don’t worry they’ll survive. Monty recommends removing a lot of the leaves once the tomatoes have set. You’ve just helped!

I've soaked them this morning again and they look a bit livelier. A few of the bottom leaves still look a be shrivelled.
I can't drown them can I ?

No, but I’d leave them to absorb the water and give them another soaking later, in the early evening.

Will do, thank you
