How do l rescue my Himalayan Poppy😭

I’ve attached 2 photos. One from last year and one burnt offering from this year.

I give it gallons if water and it’s in a shady place which it lived last year. How do l save it?😭

I'm not sure that you can tbh. As they hail from the Himalayas, they prefer cool, moist conditions and acid soil is a must. So maybe this exceptionally hot weather has stressed it beyond saving. Sorry.
