Chilli/pepper is this normal?

Basically that. DP growing chilli or pepper...not really sure!
They are going black? Is this normal? Is it still ok to eat?

Well, there are black varieties of chilli, so presumably that's what it is! I'm sure it's perfectly OK to eat, if you like chillis.

Depends on the variety. The last ones I grew went green, deep purple (almost black) before turning red. Edible in all three colours!

I can't remember what type they were. They were one of the 'grow from a tin' things.
Will try them. DP is very excited as he has never successfully grown them.
