Anyone got moles?

My recently planted garden has moles in the past week. I've lost lots of newly planted things and want to put a stop to them. There's more than one as I've seen activity in two places at the same time. One neighbour also has them but the other hasn't. I've googled and looked on YouTube and before wasting money wanted to know what others have found successful. In an ideal world I don't want them killed just removed! My terrier is very interested but hadn't caught one yet. Would really value help

Not me, but a friend in Somerset had a lot of trouble from moles disturbing her perfect lawn and flowerbeds. She and her partner contacted the local mole catcher who got rid of some of them. Then her partner got hold of some mole traps, and researched the best way to use them, (they have to be set quite precisely) and caught some more. I don't think they have been bothered much recently.
Maybe there is a mole catcher in your area? They are a real pain once they start tunnelling, and not easy to get rid of.

Yup, I have. Mine are mostly above ground at the moment much to the delight of my chickens, mine mostly leave the flower beds alone so we leave them be. There are humane traps but a) they are tricky little blighters to capture and b) I have been led to believe it causes them great distress to be caught and they often die in the process. The RSPCA have some good advice as do the RHS. Good luck.

Thank you both. I'm right now looking for a mole catcher in my area
