Re growing grass after having pool out all summer

I’ve bought a large overground steel frame pool for the DC this summer. Obviously this will compact the soil and kill a large section of grass.

When I remove the pool in September (grass will have been covered for around 6-7 weeks), how can I recover the grass? The pool will be waaay too heavy to move every day, or else I’d definitely do that.

Prick holes all over the affected area about 1cm deep, sprinkle seed and brush or rub the seed into the holes. Make far more holes than you think are needed. Then cover with a light coat of a fine soil/ sand mix. Water in. If birds are a problem, string glittery tape on short sticks over the seeded area.

The grass won't be dead,
just resting.
Rake it over when the pool comes down.
The grass will recover
