Where to buy pots?

Just that really!

I would like a few large pots of plants out the front of the garden, I'm already looking at what I'd like in them but where do I buy reasonably priced large plant pots?

Do I B&Q etc. or is there better places online?

TIA

I bought DH a huge one from Sainsbury's for his birthday, but you'll have to be quick, as the gardening stuff disappears in August.

You'll have to be quick with sainsbury's their gardening stuff is already heavily reduced.

Wilko I've found is good, I've bought some in B& Q sales before and garden centre sales (which are just starting as they get ready for christmas stuff in september ). If your going big do think about drainage and weight if its something that your going to need to move. I like a pretty plastic pot as they are easier to move, but they obviously don't have the durability that a terracotta have.

Wilko is excellent for gardening stuff. Their seeds are reputed to be Johnsons. Lots of bargains in late summer when they are clearing stock ready for the Autumn.
I'd try a decent garden centre as you could treat yourself to some new plants. B&Q is expensive for seeds.

Don't forget to go to some local garden centers.

I got some nice smaller plastic pots in Sainsburys yesterday, they weren't reduced but were £1.50 each and had holes already in them so I was happy with that!
There isn't a Wilko's nearby me but there a couple of garden centres so I will give them a try for some larger planters.

Thanks again for the help!

Our local garden centres have also reduced their pots, some decorative glazed ones are half price.
It’s the time to get bargains for next year.

The Range is great

I use mostly old water tanks and animal troughs, either bought from Ebay or local agricultural companies. Even a huge steamer pan, again from Ebay, the vintage kitchenalia section.

Ikea sells Graset and Smultron plant pots for about £35-£40. They are big enough for trees!
