AIBU to ask the locals community to do their bit.
Around my town the public highways and council grass verges haven't been cut in months. Probably since April. The grass is probably nearly 2ft tall.
The amount of cuts was dropped to only 2 a year.
Now my issue is, why haven't people cut the bit of grass between there front garden and the road/path. If they are coming out to cut there front lawns anyway what difference does it make. Why would you leave it to get so unsightly??
Ok I appreciate that some people are elderly and some may live in flats with no mower.
I also understand that it's council property and we all pay our council tax blah blah blah.
But would you really leave it to get to 2ft tall and make your house look unkept??
