This likes shade, has pretty little white flowers but I can't remember what time of the year it flowers. It has leaves arranged in circles of ten or so small leaves, then a few mm gap and another circle.

Not the Geranium or the Iris or whatever is growing at the back. Although, come to think, what is it which is growing at the back?

It flowers in the spring, it spreads like wildfire but to remove it you slice it out like deturfing a lawn

The plant at the back looks like vinca. Blue or white flowers? Agree the other one is woodruff, I really like it but it can take over a bit.

The stuff at the back is Vinca minor by the look of it.

Peregrina · 30/06/2018 20:19

Yes, I think the one at the back could be a vinca. It has blue flowers. I am quite happy for both of them to take over, it's a north facing patch which only gets the sun in the late afternoon, so anything which thrives is good.

Thanks to you all.
