Rare to find the Garden Shades so cheap.

That's good (though I am nowhere near a Wickes)

We bought two garden shades a a few weeks ago from B+Q cheaper than own brand

The 5ltr on on BOGOF as well

I've gone and ordered four tins even with delivery still saved a little

Awesome! I normally use the Wilko own brand but thought it was a good deal if anyone's looking for the Cuprinol colours (maybe it performs better too, I don't know Grin)

The shades paint is lovely stuff to use. As mentioned on another thread, don't leave the time in-between second coating too long, it takes on a waterproof finish so the paint wont take.

Ha! userxx - DH found this out to his cost when he started painting the shed one day at 3pm. He wasn't impressed to find out he'd have to do two coats that day; turned out to be a rather late finish!

I used the leftovers to smarten up some grotty old cement troughs. All looks lovely.

I bet he was painting in the dark!! I didn't realise it would work on cement, you've given me an idea now :)

Ah I didnt realise bout the 'second coat thing. I had painted 'x's' and bars on the fence where I wanted to put my bamboo and where my new fence posts were going and did notice they had the waterproof effect when I came to fo the rest of the fence.

It's only getting one coat now
