What's wrong with my Cornish palm please?

Any suggestions on what I need to do? It's 4 years old I think. It gets shade in the morning, direct sun after lunch for a few hours. No idea what the ground is (alkali etc) as I'm a rubbish gardener!

Palms a Cordylines have really suffered this winter. Do you wrap it up over winter?
This is the first year I left, what I thought, a hardy Cordyline out and the leaves perished.
Yours has a lot of green, so ld just remove the dead ones. Are they little shoots at the bottom.
Apparently they can re shoot lower down.

I've never wrapped it in afraid! I've not seen a palm wrapped in Cornwall before not even with the exceptional snow we had this year.

There are two tiny trees at the base yes. I had thought about transplanting them - is that a bad idea?
