Allotment sheds and climbing plants

I've grown a clematis over my shed at the allotment. It looks great and more flowers for the bees.

Has anyone else done this as not another soul on my site has?

I was going to do a Clematis but needed a home for DH’s minature hops plant so have put that in instead. I’ve also noticed no one on our site seems to have anything growing up their shed.

Ooh. Hope there's an idea. I wondered if it's some kind if convention. Or just makes it harder to paint the shed!

There's a lovely rambling rose at our plot. The lady who had it first has given cuttings to lots of people so a large number of sheds are in bloom. Unfortunately my plot and shed are facing the opposite way and are quite shaded so I don't think I will get the same effect. The brambles from the hedge are currently climbing over it and are in bloom now. Grin
