Grass drying up

Hello. Our grass is drying up. We've put grass "food" but it's getting worse.
In some areas it looks as if moss is taking over. What can we do? What is causing this?

The weed and feed is probably killing the moss, as it should. Give it a watering and it’ll probably improve.
