What is this plant?

My son brought this home from school, can anyone tell me what it is, I’ve been watering it for ages and I haven’t a clue.

Could it be a sunflower? Or several!

my best guess is sunflowers.

ideally plant then out (or in a big, builders bucket size pot).
sunny place.
water regularly.
they should flower end july onwards.

The school never sent anything home with it, he goes to a special school on transport so I don’t see the teachers just thought I’d ask if anyone knew before I started sending messages in with him.
