can someone tell me if this is a plant or a weed? Its definitely a creeping or trailing plant, with flowers that open in the sun and close up in the dark but the flowers are tiny, like small than half the size of my pinkie finger nail.

I still can’t see a photo..

Ah.. Now I can. It looks like chickweed to me.

Cheesenacho123 · 06/06/2018 18:28

Yep it looks exactly like chick weed. Sad to think I’ve spent all this time looking after a bloody weed

I think Knittedfairies is right! It is a weed and self seeds profusely.

If it’s any consolation Nacho, it is a very healthy specimen.... In the ground, a dense clump of chickweed is an indicator of fertile soil.

That’s good to know, it’ll promptly be getting pulled from the pot after tea.
