Quick question about those cardboard seed planting pots....

... from a gardening novice Grin. I've been growing a few bits in them and the roots are starting to come through the cardboard pots. Is the idea that you then plant them (cardboard pot and all) in the earth outside or is it best to remove them first and discard the pot.

Yes, plant pot and all, the cardboard will eventually rot. If you try to unpot seedlings you will damage all the roots growing through the cardboard.
