My parents planted 2 rose trees years ago one died as I was gardening for them I accidentally sawed the booting of the wrong rose tree!! God knows why I did this because they were so far apart from each other!! And it actually had flipping roses on it! I was about 80% to 90% through sawing through it when I realised I was cutting the wron one!! Why oh whyyyyy. My question is will it still survive or is it a lost cause? Anything I can do? Or do I need to confess to my parents how stupid I am.

I am sure it will grow back.

If you mean you have sawn every thing off a Standard or half standard Rose tree then you will most likely have to replace it. They are not that expensive. If you mean a rose bush, then it will be fine.

its a climbing rose, and literally sawed it right at the bottom just above the ground about 90%way through it then realised. will it now just die? because the roses only just started to come out.

No if it is a climbing rose it will be fine. It will be stronger next year.

Finish the job and remove the sawn off bit - don't leave it hanging...apart from that it will grow back.
