Does anyone know what this is?

Any thoughts on what this plant might be? It belongs to my neighbours but really like it! No scent, if that helps....

Is the one with the lighter leaves a variegated weigela? And the other a 'normal' weigela? No plant expert but I have a normal one and my NN has a variegated one.

I'll try for a closer picture this morning! Have just looked online and it's definitely not a pyracantha.

It looks like it may very well be a weigela though - good shout!
