Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Lots of bare earth on my newly plated borders. Mulched with compost which the little bastards seem to love crapping in. Tried sprays, talking nicely to my neighbour, hiding out in the playhouse with a water pistol, hosepipe and handfuls of gravel, you name it. Can’t use ultrasonic whatnots as they aren’t safe around babies due to the softness of the bones in their ears. Has anybody successfully used strulch to deter cats? Would also mean less weeding and hopefully less slugs on my lupins and delphiniums...
