Mould on pulmonaria

It's a perennial problem, once your flowers have gone over (and sometimes before!)- getting a whitey/ grey 'mould' on the leaves. Normally I ignore it but this year I am wondering whether to cut it back? So maybe new, clean leaves will grow? (Before mould finds them, too!)

WWYD?

It's mildew - they are notorious for it. In fact, I cut mine all back earlier this week, all the old flower stems and most of the leaves. They should produce a new flush of leaves fairly quickly, so yes! Cut back now.

Thanks! I meant mildew! I will get stuck in this afternoon.

Spray with water with a little milk added. I've heard that works.

I'll try that, too, thanks!
