Delphinium help

What's ailing my delphinium? It has only been planted for a few weeks and has slowly turned yellow. They are planted in a raised bed which sees sun until late morning then shade.

Slugs? They love delphiniums.

Looks like some sort of disease to me; if you had alkaline soil I would expect the other plants to be affected too - as far as I can see from the photograph, they look healthy. Similarly if it was a nutrient deficiency, they would all be brown. If it is diseased, the best thing would probably be to pull it out so the others don’t get infected. Wait until someone comes along with a definitive answer though!

Thanks, I'm going to show the pic to the garden centre I bought it from. They have a replacement policy for things that die so hopefully they'll be able to tell me what's happened but also replace it.

My delphinium looks like that as well. It’s in a pot, came up fine, but now turning yellow and the leaves are totally drooping.

I'd have dug that up and got rid as soon as it looked like only one was suffering...'Grow Healthy Plants' is my motto.
