Help me know this tree! Sainsbury's Xmas 2017

Hi,
I've got a Sainsbury's xmas tree from 2017 that refuses to die. It's about 3ft tall in a pot, was sold for £10-£12 if I remember rightly. I feel I should plant it as it's still going but I'd love to know what it might do before I place it. In my head I'd love it to grow 60ft tall and be the centre of outdoor Christmas dreams but alas, it'll probably stay 3ft forever. if anyone knows what type of tree this was, that would help.
Thanks,

It might not get any taller as it's in a pot. The roots would need more nutrients and space for the tree to get larger.

I love just seeing what happens so I would plant it and hope for the best. If it doesn't work you can just dig it up again

Just found this thread upon asking google how big my planted £12 Sainsburys Christmas tree will get. Did you plant it? if so what happened? how big did it get? I planted it on impulse and now I'm worrying hahah

You’d do better to send a PM to the poster. I haven’t seen her post on here in the last 3 years.

If you post a picture of it someone might be able to identify it, then you can find out it's potential size when planted in the ground.
