We bought DSs a climbing frame last year, levelled the bottom of the garden and covered with bark chippings. Looked great! In the past couple of weeks, we've had loads of mushrooms coming up. This morning, after three days of heavy rain, the whole area was literally covered and it's taken me 45 minutes to pull them up. I don't know much about mushrooms. What's the mushroom season, ie how long are they likely to keep cropping up? Are they perennial? Will this happen every year? Is there anything I can do to get rid of them permanently, bearing in mind this is where my kids play.
