Hi

Would boiling water kill weeds or would I need something stronger? These are weeds growing through cracks.

Put loads of salt in the weeds then booking water. Takes a few days but does work. Also extra strength vinegar works as well.

Boiling* water even...not booking Grin

I would just use weedkiller, TBH. Something like PathClear (if I'm remembering right)

It does work but it's quite a palava if like us the kitchen is at the back of the house as you need quite a lot. Also new ones soon spring up.

Oh supposedly, not tried it yet, tipping salt into cracks once the weeds have died (some sort of dissolve others need pulling up) slows down their return.
