Plant or weed?

Hi, can anyone identify this? It's growing in 3 or 4 big bunches in the beds, weed it out or leave it?

Looks like hardy geraniums

I think it might be wood avens. They spread all over my garden.

Or a type of geum - in which case you can classify as weed.

I think it's wood avens, a weed. I'm forever digging them up!

So am I. If I haven’t time to dig them out I just pull of the small yellow flowers, at least then they don’t make seed. They have really tough roots.

that's different, I would say. Let it grow and see what becomes of it. Wood avens have little flowers on long stalks
