Keeping bulbs

Just dug over a rubbishy bed to get it ready to put new things in and have dug up a bunch of daffodil, tulip and crocus bulbs - I knew they were there and they flowered this year but I want to use the bed for new bits.

Now they're out, can I dry them and plant them again in the autumn for next year, or do they need to go in the bin now?

You can lit them and store them, then pop them in an out of the way place in the autumn, but its possible that they won't be all that good after being neglected in a 'rubbishy bed'.

You have the chance to order something new, which I personally always love to do, so I suggest you get 'new bits'.

That's what I thought - just didn't want to be a bad and wasteful gardener if they would store well. Thanks v much.
