Hi all, I've been tidying up my front garden and after taking out a fair few old/rubbish plants I've found this beauty nestled among them. It's not the best picture but does anyone have any idea what it is (googling hasn't thrown anything up)? The flowers look velvety and have black centres. I'm hoping it's a perennial so that my front garden is low maintenance but if not I'd like to replace it once it's done it's thing. Many thanks.

It looks like Senetti ( which is in the Senecio family) usually sold as half hardy annuals, so if yours has come through winter, it's done very well!

You're an absolute star!! I think that's it 😀. It was almost totally surrounded by some evergreen shrubs which I've just dug out. It's obviously still been getting some sun but I'm guessing the evergreens shielded it from the worst of the winter weather.
