Yet another plant ID?

Hi there,

just wondering if these babies which were in my flower bed at the plot are weeds or actual flowers?

Secretly hoping for them to be weeds, so I can dig them out, as I have too many annuals desperately waiting to be planted somewhere, and I'm thoroughly late in my new borders-making at the house...

thanks so much in advance.

Weed, but it has pretty spikes of small yellow flowers. Self seeds everywhere!

Thanks CrazyCatLAady (ah!), so they are still hanging in there...

Anybody got any idea of what their name is?

Charlock?

It's a type of land cress. I grew some to eat, and now they've self seeded everywhere. And not even that nice to eat! Try it though, you might like it. It's an alternative to watercress.

Thanks ladies for your help :)
